Love life? or School Works?

ENGLISH III- Post Something Worth Discussing

Do you spend your time worrying about your love life or your studies? Is it better to solve school work problems than love life?

Teenagers usually spends their time worrying about their problems specially on love life problems and school works. Actually, most teenagers focus more their problems on their love lives and not on their studies. Some said that school work problems can be easily solved than love life problems. Maybe for the ones who are not in a relationship, they might say that school works are better to worry about than love life but for the ones who are in a relationship then they might say that love life is better to worry about because it only comes once. What do you think would be the right one? Worrying on a relationship or studies?
Some say that it is better to be in a relationship because you can have someone to lean on when your friends are not around to support you. Some also say that it is better to be single so that you can do anything you want in your life and no one will told you what to do. Maybe these two opinions are right but what do you think will it be? to be single? or to be in a relationship?

If I choose between love life and school work, I would actually prefer SCHOOL WORK. I picked school work not because I'm single but I chose it because actually speaking we are still in high school .While it is natural to have a little “puppy love” we are more obliged to study. Besides isn’t studying the reason why our parents sent us to school?

Between “being single” and “in a relationship”? I would rather choose “being single” why? Because I don’t believe that your boyfriends/girlfriends are the one who you can always lean on when your friends are not around and I see it the other way around. From experience, being a part of a relationship was a distraction for me in school, house, and even friends. Well, that’s how I see it but for me I would still choose “being single” for now because I’m still in high school and I cannot manage boys and school at the same time.

  2. I choose being SINGLE because I will have more time for myself and my studies. Dzuh, we're still in high school anyway. Our priority should be our study. What do you get from a relationship anyway? Will it give you extra points in English or in other subjects? Will your "boyfriend" be there always to help you? Will he solve your math assignments if you do not know them? My main point is, you should concentrate in your studies where you are better benefited.

  3. For me, my choice would be to become single(ahem). When you are single you can put your focus on your studies. You can even enjoy your high school life better when you are single because you are free but if you want to have a boyfriend or girlfriend at least know you are "ready" since entering a "relationship" sometimes takes its toll emotionally.

  4. Love can wait. What are we rushing for? Afraid of losing him? If it is really for you, it will come(I think?)

I'm hard up for school. It's like being in a cage with alligators but after all these tough moments, we will be free and be able to do whatever we wanted to be. Wedding church will be all set and places for vacation too. Love life would be at its best if we were done schooling and are already working for our needs(I think again?).
